Developer Groupe HD and Fondaction have partnered to develop a 155-unit multifamily property in Montréal’s LaSalle borough.
The site, at 1855 Dollard Avenue, formerly housed a car dealership. Construction is expected to begin next winter, and the project is expected to cost $55m. Desjardins is the lender.
The proposed five-story building will have two levels of underground parking, car-charging stations, a lobby, a gym, a pool and a courtyard. The project will include 16 affordable housing units offered at prices 20% to 30% below market value.
The project aims to achieve LEED certification and energy performance 40% above NECB standard.
